Reading through the entire Bible in a year (or so...)

I really needed a visual of the temple. It sounded very grand and ornate. This is one picture I found. Some of the others were just architectural sketches.
Something else, while I was looking for a picture of King Solomon's palace on wikapedia, there in black and white print it says that Solomon is mentioned in the Qur'an. What? My eyes didn't go blind, no fire erupted from out of no where, I don't know what to think. The piece had excerpts from the Qur'an regarding Solomon and it doesn't put him in a negative light. I think I need to understand Islamic religion a bit more to understand where this fits in.
So I suppose after you are through reading the Bible in a year, you will turn your attention to reading the Qur'an in a year...anonymous is really your MOM

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind reading the Koran myself. I'd like to know what Islam is all about from the source. So much to read, so little time...
